Pink Leica M11 LABUBU limited edition camera?

I am not sure whether this pink Leica M11 LABUBU limited-edition camera is real or an AI-generated hoax. The model will be a limited edition of 100 pieces and should be officially released soon.

“Labubu is a line of collectible plush toys created by Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung. The series features zoomorphic elves with exaggerated facial expressions, of which the central figure is Labubu, a monster with sharp teeth, large ears and a scruffy appearance.” (Wikipedia)

Update: The M11 LABUBU limited edition will feature pink leatherette, pink elements (engravings), a custom body cap, pink LABUBU strap, and a pink LABUBU monster plush. Available at dealers next month.

To me, this design does not look like something Lecia will create. What do you think?

Leica released new firmware updates for all M10/M11/MEV1 cameras with added support for the Leica Noctilux M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens that was announced today:

  • Leica M10/10M/10P/10PASC/10R/10D firmware update 3.2.5/4.2.5
  • Leica M11/11P/11D/11M/EV1 firmware update 2.6.1
