Cosina officially released their new Voigtlander NOKTON 50mm f/1.2 Aspherical VM lens for Leica M-mount (it was officially announced in early 2018). The suggested retail price in Japan (excluding tax) is ¥135,000 (around $1,200). The official US price is not yet announced (check B&H and Adorama). Shipping is expected to start in September 2018. Shortly after the first reports came online about the new Light 9-cameras smartphone camera, Light issued a press release today announcing that SoftBank and Leica Camera invested $121 million in the company:
