Just a quick update on my last post – 7Artisans M-mount lenses are now also available for sale at B&H Photo in addition to Amazon (UK, Germany) and eBay (UK).

I always find it amusing when somebody claims “I’m not rumor-mongering” and then make a video called “Leica SL2 Coming in H1 2019?” – the video is based on a Photokina interview with Stephan Schulz from Leica.
Update: the name of the video is now changed to “A Conversation with Leica’s Stefan Schultz on the L-Mount Alliance“. I also updated my post to reflect the change – watch the video and make your own conclusions on what was said about the Leica SL replacement (starting from the 12-minute mark):

Here is some additional information on the upcoming 7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 lens for Leica M-mount including technical specifications, MTF charts, lens design and new sample photos:

The previously rumored Leica Q-P camera is now officially announced. Available in matte black exterior, the new model doesn’t have the front-facing Leica red dot logo, but it has the classic script engraving on the top plate. The shutter release button and power switch/drive mode selector have been redesigned to be like the those found on the Leica M10 and CL. The Leica Q-P will be on sale beginning today at Leica Stores, Boutiques and Dealers for $4,995 (some stores already have it in stock today):
