Leica M10-P European pricing leaked

I received some European pricing for the upcoming/rumored Leica M10-P camera:

  • 20021 LEICA M10-P black chrome finish: €7,500
  • 20022 LEICA M10-P silver chrome finish: €7,500

I assume 20021 and 20022 are the product numbers. There is supposed to be also two more M10-P models: 20025 and 20026 marked with the label “IN” – not sure what exactly that stands for.

€7,500 is currently almost $8,700 – I assume the US price will be at least $8,000. For comparison, the Leica M10 is currently $7,295 in the US.

Leica Q Globe-Trotter limited edition camera announced in Japan

A new Leica Q limited edition camera set was announced in Japan in collaborated with Globe-Trotter (Leica Q GLOBE-TROTTER). Two different colors are available: navy and pink. Shipping is expected to start on August 9th. The price is ¥840,000 with tax (around $7,500).

Rumors: new Leica Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 Asph lens coming at Photokina in September

In the past few days I have been busy reporting on the upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless camera. Here are some fresh Leica rumors: the previously rumored Leica Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 Asph lens is expected to be released/shown at the 2018 Photokina show in September. Shipping is expected to start in Q1/2019. Several different designs were considered for this lens over the past 3 years and several glass formulations were tested in collaboration with Hoya.
