Yesterday in an event in Wetzlar, Leica Camera revealed their latest Leica M Typ 262 red anodized aluminum limited edition camera I reported about two days ago (the top and bottom plate are made of solid red anodized aluminum.). Only 100 pieces will be produced. The price is expected to be around €6,600 (approx. $7,800). For comparison, the price of a regular M 262 body is $5,595 (around $2,200 premium for the limited edition).
Here are some additional pictures of the new camera courtesy of milanswolfs.be (more photos from the event can be seen on their Facebook page):

→ The Mitakon Speedmaster 135mm f/1.4 lens will now also be available also in Leica L-mount.

→ Leica M10 cameras for sale on eBay (one black M10 currently in stock at Amazon).
