After the announcement of the M Typ 262 camera and CCD sensor corrosions issue, the Leica M-E camera is still available for sale (price: $4,790, or $400 less than the new Typ 262). Used M-E cameras can be found for around $2,800.
I have been asking around for a while and nobody could give me any information on whether Leica M-E cameras will be available for sale with the new generation of CCD sensors or they will only be used only for replacement/repairs.

Leica Camera Russia is selling some cool Leica-themed pendant and cufflinks made by Markin. The price of the pendant is 35,000 RUB (around $520), the cufflinks are 65,000 RUB (around $970).

The UK price of the upcoming Leica X-U Typ 113 waterproof and shockproof camera will be £2599.00 (incl. VAT) or around $3,900. The US price should be lower – the current Leica X (Typ 113) model for example is listed right now for $2,019.
