New Leica “100” promo video

Leica Gallery São Paulo published another promo video called Leica “100” in which they recreated some of the most popular photographs taken in the last century. The video is produced by the same agency (FNazca / Saatchi & Saatchi) that created the award winning “Soul” video last year.

The new Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM lens for Leica M mount (sample photos and more)

After a 2 years delay, last week Zeiss announced their new Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM lens for Leica M mount (detailed specifications). Zeiss published a video with some additional information on the 1,4/35:

The new Zeiss 1,4/35 ZM lens will be released before the end of the year (most likely in November).

The lens is available for pre-order in black and silver finish.

I somehow missed the new SF26 flash announcement few months ago (it was announced together with the Leica T camera). The SF26 is compatible with all current Leica system cameras, including the latest M models (see the first video in this post for more info). The SF26 also has a built-in LED light for video recording and can be tilted for bounce flash. Leica did not provide any technical information for the new flash.
