Coming soon: Megadap M2RF Leica M-mount to Canon RF-mount autofocus adapter

ShotenKobo posted a picture of a new Megadap M2RF Leica M-mount to Canon RF-mount AF adapter that will allow you to autofocus M lenses on Canon EOS R cameras. Currently, there are many M to RF adapters, but as far as I know, the Megadap M2RF will be the first autofocus adapter of this kind.

Rumors: Leica to announce a new Q3 camera with a fixed 43mm f/2 APO lens

Leica is rumored to announce a new Q3 camera with a fixed 43mm f/2 APO lens. The actual focal length is not yet 100% confirmed, but it will be very close to 40mm. The official announcement is expected before the end of the year (2024).

This rumor also raises the question: what about the Leica Q3 Monochrom? I received some bad news on this topic, but I still do not feel comfortable sharing it online because I am not sure how accurate is the information I received. Stay tuned for updates.

→ AstrHori announced a new 120mm f/2.8 full-frame macro 2x lens for Leica L-mount (buy at Amazon, Pergear, and AstrHori website). Additional information can be found here.

→ Peak Design added the popular “Coyote” color line to its global lineup (including the Coyote X-Pac bags). Pre-orders are now open at B&H Photo. Up until now, Coyote X-Pac has only been available in limited edition runs that sold out almost immediately (American-made and featuring an exterior shell derived from 100% recycled fishing nets).
