A much-needed supplement to the user’s manual for this competent and complex camera.

The Photographers Guide to the D-Lux 5 is a very attractive proposition. I have been using Linholf 4×5 “L” Systen, an ELM Blad both Canon & Nikon. Now I carry the Leica D-Lux5 everywhere. It would be great to curl up in bed on a rainy day & read the book cover to cover. I’m sure there are a lot performance enhancing set-up’s that can be applied. It’s a camera that I would like to know inside-out.

I got the D-Lux 5 for Christmas! Amazingly sharp pictures! I am getting this book regardless if its free or not. Having just had our second kid though, a free book will free up more money for diapers and formula. Thanks for offering the free book. Maybe this is my lucky year. My D Lux 5 will be used to chronicle 3 winter ascents starting in January. We’re hiking Mt Whitney, Mt Shasta and Mt Hood and skiing down them. I needed a brilliant camera in a lightweight package and the D-Lux 5 is perfect! Cheers!

I saw the d-lux4 version, and this book is for retards! Just use the manual and save the $20, plus the huge waste of time. It’s written by some putsy lawyer who just reiterates the manual, just like an uptight lawyer type would. There are zero “insider” tips or any innovative info.

Hell, if I win, I’m redirecting this POS pronto!

I love this camera, for some reason, I feel that I’m more of a photographer compared to when I was using my DSLR and expensive lenses. For one, it’s with me anywhere I go, the quality of images are amazing, and I feel good using it.
