
The new Leica M digital rangefinder is now listed for pre-order on Amazon in black and silver. The camera qualifies for the 2% back in rewards from Amazon (read more about this offer here).

Leica Camera uploaded some sample images from the new Leica M camera (pre-order options) on their website. You can download the full size JPG and DNG files from this link (under the “performance proof” link). Unless there is a delay, the new M should start shipping at the end of February.

During the 2013 CP+ show in Japan, Voigtländer quietly announced a new Nokton 50mm f/1.5 Asph lens for M-mount based on their classic L39 design from the 1950s (see eBay listings, images on flickr). The US price of the lens is $899 for the black version and $1049 for the silver model. Here are the lens specs:
