The Leica M Monochrom camera is now $2,451 off (was $2,000 off back in September last year). Those are probably the last few pieces available for sale before this model is officially discontinued. The new Monochrom Typ 246 is currently listed for $7,450.

The compact Leica V-Lux 40 camera is listed as discontinued at B&H. Expect Leica to announce a new V-Lux 50 model which will most likely be based on the Panasonic SZ30 with a 24mm 20x optical zoom lens, 3.0″ multi-touch LCD display (920K dots) and 18.1MP 1/2.3″ sensor.
After several gift card promotions, the black Leica M9-P is currently listed as discontinued at B&H. Adorama also no longer lists the camera on their website. The silver chrome M9-P is still available. There is currently one black M9-P available on Amazon by third party resellers.
