Do you remember the brass Leica M-P 240 “Hour Glass” limited edition set I reported here on the blog a while back? A set is currently listed for sale at the Leica Store San Francisco for $35,995. Here is the description:
“This Hour Glass M-P (typ 240) is a limited edition M camera that was limited to 35 units world wide. Built for the watch industries leading retailer, Hour Glass, the M-P is a celebration of the two companies common interest in beautiful design and fine craftsmanship. The Hour Glass M-P comes with a bare brass finish on both the body and lens. This set comes like new in the box with the original strap, 35mm Summicron-M, metal shade and manual. I would rate this at a 10- condition seeing that is still like new in the box.”
