Leica Q2 camera rumors: more megapixels, everything else remains unchanged

I received some rumors on the upcoming Leica Q2 fixed lens full-frame camera:

  • No changes to form factor, focal length (28mm), or aperture (f/1.7)
  • A significant increase in megapixels resolution
  • The increased resolution will enable additional “digital zoom” crop option at 75mm focal length (currently only 28mm, 35mm and 50mm are available in the current Leica Q model)

The Lecia Q2 is expected to be announced next year (2019).
