Akara Labs released updated and improved Slim Skin cases for Leica M11 cameras. The new versions now come with a subtle pebble leatherette texture, permanent USB-C port access, and a wider fit range. Alongside the M11 and M11-P, the new version now also fits the M11-D, the M11 Monochrom, and the EV1. Two main versions are available:
- Non-Grip: pure, minimal protection that respects the camera’s original lines.
- Grip: adds a built-in front finger grip for better handling, shown below.
- Tripod version: the friction-fit bung in the base is replaced with a proper screw thread, so you can remove it and mount tripod plates or strap systems that use the camera’s tripod socket.
