PolarPro created a new lens filter that simulates the look of Kodak Portra 400 film

PolarPro released a new lens filter that simulates the look of Kodak Portra 400 film. Different sizes are available that can be purchased from B&H Photo (check also the PolarPro Amazon store):

“The Portra Filter embodies the color profile of the classic PORTRA 400. The glass delivers a soft, organic Portra style look and feel straight out of camera. The glass combines a custom color tone, white mist diffusion, and chroma polarizer, which creates warm highlights, natural skin tones, and controls unwanted glare.”

New Leica price increase rumored for March, but will it take place after the Supreme Court struck down the Trump tariffs as unconstitutional

Tomorrow: Red Dot Forum Camera Talk will take an in-depth look at the newly released Leica Noctilux-M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens

This weekend, on Saturday, Red Dot Forum Camera Talk will take an in-depth look at the newly released Leica Noctilux-M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens:

Only slightly larger than the 35mm Summilux, the new 35 Nocti delivers optical performance approaching the 35mm APO-Summicron, and features the fastest aperture ever offered on a 35mm M lens. In that episode, Red Dot Forum Camera Talk will give a brief history of Noctilux lenses, discuss the technological innovations behind this high-speed reference-class optic, and explain where it fits within the current Leica M lineup. Naturally, Josh and David will explore how the new lens stacks up against the latest 35mm Summilux-M FLE and 35mm APO-Summicron-M, with their usual battery of detailed testing. You can send your questions to this email address [email protected].

The new Leica Noctilux M 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens can be pre-ordered at:
