Voigtlander HELIAR Classic 50mm f/1.5 VM lens for Leica M-mount officially announced

The previously rumored Voigtlander HELIAR Classic 50mm f/1.5 VM lens for Leica M-mount is now officially announced. The new lens will start shipping in September for ¥90,000 (around $800). Sample photos can be found here and here. Next are some hands-on photos courtesy of  DC.watch:

Rockstar to announce a new lens for Leica M-mount

At the end of August the Chinese company Rockstar is rumored to announce a new lens for Leica M-mount:


Rockstar already sells several other cheap lenses for different mounts and I expect their new M-mount lens to be very affordable (probably under $100). Stay tuned for updates.
