The first Leica Q2 “Pixel” limited edition camera was launched in China. Only 100 units will be produced worldwide. The price is 45,000 RMB (around $6,300). Shipping will start on November 10.

Today Leica released firmware update version 2.0.6.0 for the Leica M Typ 240 camera that contains “general bug fixing”.
With the announcement of the Leica M-E Typ 240 model, the original Leica M Typ 240 is no longer available for sale in the major US stores and is listed as discontinued (Adorama | B&H):

Leica is rumored to increase US prices on November 1st by 25%. I was told that the first price increase will impact only Leica lenses. A second price increase is expected on December 1st for compact Leica cameras. This price increase is most likely triggered by the new 25% US tax on select European products:

The Leica S3 medium format camera that was announced at the 2018 Photokina show back in September 2018 is now apparently delayed – the camera’s availability is now listed as “spring 2020” on Leica’s website:

The camera was initially scheduled to be released in spring of 2019.
