The new Leica APO-Summicron-SL 50mm f/2 Asph lens report (by Jonathan Slack):

Introduction

This will be a short report, beyond the obvious superlatives there really isn’t that much to say about this wonderful new lens.

The 50mm is the 4th lens in the APO SL Summicron lineup. The wide-angle lenses are promised for 2020, while the 75, 90, and 35 have already been released.

Adobe Lightroom August 2019 released with support for the Leica V-LUX 5 camera

Adobe released the August 2019 version of Lightroom Classic and ACR with support for the new Leica V-LUX 5 camera and several improvements including GPU Accelerated Editing:

New teaser: Map Camera 25th anniversary limited edition rangefinder lens for Leica M-mount

The famous Map Camera store in Japan is celebrating its 25th anniversary on August 13th. To commemorate this milestone, Map Camera will release a new rangefinder lens for Leica M-mount (the lens will be made in Japan). There is already a teaser on their website. The lens details and pre-orders will be officially announced on August 13th. Unfortunately, the new lens will not be available for international sales. Stay tuned for additional information.
