Zenitar 21mm f/2.8 and Zenitar 50mm f/1.0 lenses for Leica M-mount to be released in the future

Breaking: PIXII camera teaser

We have already seen the new Zenit-Leica camera and the Panasonic-Sigma-Leica alliance, and now there is another Leica-related surprise (not coming directly from Leica)… meet the new PIXII camera (or the teaser of the PIXII camera). Not much information is available, except that the PIXII is somehow related to Leica. The teaser says “Hey, there is still one camera playing with the dark…”

Is the Zenit M digital rangefinder camera only a limited edition run?

The Russian website Ria News reports that the new Zenit M camera could be/is a limited edition with only 500 pieces produced:

“However, this is not a limited edition with new features, but cameras in limited design, exclusive packaging with an individual number.” Circulation of this camera is extremely limited. “Only 500 pieces of Zenitar 1.0 / 35 cameras and lenses available for purchase in Russia and Europe” the source said.

This would make so much more sense. The Ria News article goes even further:
