New Leica T and TL firmware updates add support for the new Elmarit-TL 18 f/2.8 ASPH lens

After the TL2 firmware update, Leica also released firmware update version 1.7 for the Leica T (Typ 701) and version 2.2 for the Leica TL. Both firmware updates come with added support for the new Elmarit-TL 18 f/2.8 ASPH lens ($1,295).

All three colors of the Leica TL camera are still available for sale ($1,695):

Rare Leica KE-7A military camera listed for sale on eBay for $25k

M&K Kamera currently has a rare Leica KE-7A military version rangefinder camera with Elcan 50/2.0 lens listed or sale on eBay for $24,898.85.

A sealed/unopened Leica KE-7A camera set was listed for sale on eBay last year for $45,300 and we’ve seen even higher prices in the past. At a Westlich auction back in 2012 a rare Leica KE-7A camera with Elcan 1/90 lens sold for €228,000.

New Rock n Roll camera straps

Two new camera straps were introduced today – Rock n Roll Classic and Rock n Roll Slim Classic:

  • Camera straps the way they made them in the old days, vintage looking and very soft
  • The width of the Classic straps is 15mm and the thickness is around 2,1mm
  • The width of the Slim Classic straps is 11mm and the thickness is around 2,1mm
  • The Classic and the Slim Classic straps are made from premium Cretan leather
  • Hand cut and hand stitched with waxed thread
  • All the straps come in a linen pouch
