I reported the first rumors about a new Leica Summaron-M 28mm f/5.6 lens back in May. It seems that we are now getting closer to the official announcement of this lens because the product page already exists: if you go to http://de.leica-camera.com/Fotografie/Leica-M/M-Objektive/Summaron-M-1-5,6-28-mm you will get access denied page (403 Forbidden):
instead of the regular “404 not found” that usually comes up when you type a wrong URL, for example: http://us.leica-camera.com/Photography/Leica-M/LeicaRumors:

We already know there will be at least two new Leica cameras (made in Germany) announced during Photokina show in Germany next month. Here is a recap on what to expect:
After the “8854”, a second Leica camera was registered at the Indonesian Communications Agency under the code name “3656”. This means that at least two new Leica cameras will be announced at Photokina next month (both made in Germany).

I wasn’t going to get the Leica SL. I was very disappointed when Leica first introduced it. In fact, I was downright offended. I am a loyal Leica M-body photographer. And like all loyal M-body photographer, I am waiting for Leica to introduce the next generation M-body with a working electronic viewfinder (and not that excuse of a time-lagged external EVF/LCD monitor of the M240 body). So you could imagine my surprise when Leica decided to forsake their core M-body customer by introducing the SL – just for the sake of expanding their customer base. I felt so hurt… so abandoned. I wanted nothing to do with the SL.
