Some observations and comments for the Leica M10 spy shots I published last week:
There is a new Leica M9-P limited edition camera dedicated to the 10 years anniversary of the German photo store Meister Camera with locations in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. Only 50 pieces will be produced with a price tag of 12.000,00 €. The camera has grey engravings and leatherette. The interesting part is that the included Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH lens looks different than the regular production model – it includes a newly designed metal lens hood:
I received those pictures from a reader of what appears to be a new Leica M body with a larger screen (M10 maybe?) – you can see that the screen is almost to the level of the viewfinders. There also appears to be a different button selector to the right of the screen. For comparison, here is a picture of the M8:

Allendale, NJ (July 10, 2012) – Leica Camera Inc., announced today the promotion of Roland Wolff to Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Retail, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Roger Horn, President of Leica Camera Inc., the American division of the legendary camera and sport optics brand headquartered in Solms, Germany. Mr. Wolff previously served as Director of Corporate Retail and joined Leica in 1998.
