The scope of this call for entries is as follows:

  • Original works of photography from home and abroad: including silver gelatin prints, film originals, digital image works, etc.; covering all genres such as landscapes, documentary, culture, portraits, conceptual art, etc.
  • Historical vintage photos: original prints from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period, important historical events, social scenes, urban changes, portraits of celebrities, life images, and other precious themes.
  • Classical process photographic works: includes Daguerreotype, Salt Print, Wet Plate Collodion, Albumen Print, Tintype/Ferrotype, and other 19th-century classic photographic processes.
  • Signed photo albums by photographers: includes autographed albums or limited edition signed publications by domestic and international master photographers.
  • Rare photography books from home and abroad: classic photographic materials, precious photo collections, catalogs of famous exhibitions, limited-edition albums, discontinued out-of-print photography books, and scarce editions with special bindings or numbered limited releases.
  • Photographic literature and related paper materials: includes but not limited to handwritten letters, work notes, photo diaries, negative records, printing notes by photography masters; exhibition invitations, posters, brochures, gallery albums, historical archives, and literary materials from significant photography institutions or photographers.

The global call for the 2026 Spring Auction Photography Collection is ongoing. We sincerely invite new-generation authors’ works to be submitted enthusiastically. In terms of work selection, we will balance market recognition and audience acceptance, moderately expanding the types of works that are more approachable and aimed at a broader audience, enriching the live viewing experience and expanding collection options.

Call for Entries: 2026 Li Dong Spring Auction Camera Collection

The scope of this call for entries is as follows:

  • 19th-century classical cameras: including wooden large-format cameras, Daguerreotype cameras, wet plate cameras, stereoscopic cameras, etc.
  • 20th-century classic film cameras: mechanical and electronic film cameras from brands like Leica, Kodak, Voigtländer, Rollei, Hasselblad, Contax, Canon, Nikon, Minolta, etc.
  • Domestic high-quality camera section: classic film cameras like Hongqi, Dongfeng, Qiyi, Zhujiang 7, Tianchi, Zijinshan, Shanghai 58-1, Nanjing 58-1, Xihu, etc., as well as various prototypes and unique pieces.
  • Limited edition and special version cameras: including commemorative editions, signed editions, special paint versions, and other rare models.
  • Photography lenses: ranging from 19th-century brass large format lenses (e.g., Petzval, Voigtländer) to classic lenses of various brands in the 20th century; special purpose lenses (tilt-shift, ultra-macro, fisheye, stereo photography lenses, etc.); large aperture and soft focus lenses; and limited edition, commemorative edition, and other rare lenses. Early prototype and unique lenses are also welcome to participate in the auction.
  • Camera accessories: including old and modern photography accessories such as viewfinders, exposure meters, film backs, tripods, and other items with collectible value.
