Lolumina introduced new interchangeable soft-release buttons for non-threaded shutter release cameras (like the Leica X and T models):
A new Leica X type 113 camera was registered at the Korean Radio Research Agency. This is an indication that the new model will most likely have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. I expect the new X camera to be announced at Photokina this year (September). Via Digicame-info
New Leica MP Olive and X2 Olive limited edition cameras were announced in Japan to commemorate the opening of the Kyoto Leica store. Sale will start on April 1st. Additional details:
Leica Camera Japan will release a new “Leica X2 Red Leather” camera to commemorate the first anniversary of the Leica Daimaru Shinsaibashi store. Only 20 pieces will be produced. The price will be ¥273,000 (around $2,600). The camera will be released on March 1st, 2014. Via DC.watch
New X2 limited edition from Leica: instead of the the traditional leather band, the Paper Skin Fedrigoni camera has special paper called “Constellation Jade” (watch the embedded video for more details). Only 25 pieces will be produced. The price is not yet announced. Additional images:
