The Light Lens Lab 35mm f/1.4 Aspherical “11873” lens for M-mount was initially prototyped in 2023 and reviewed by Leica Society International. The lens has been refined with upgraded aspherical and high-refractive ED elements, improved alignment, and optimized performance for modern high-megapixel sensors. Squarehood released a new lens hood for the Summicron 35mm V3 lens. This hood screws into the 39mm filter thread and can accommodate a 39mm filter. It comes with a newly designed plastic clip-on cap. This hood will also work for the V2 lens if you have a 39mm filter thread (some of the earlier lenses did not have a thread).

The Leica SL3 “Reporter” camera features a scratch-resistant olive-green finish, no red dot, aramid-fabric armoring, black buttons, a black display frame, and black dials. The US price is $7,995 (the regular SL3 version is $7,485). The Reproter edition will include a BP-SCL6 battery, USB-C cable, strap, and a quick-start guide.
