Gulf Times reported that Leica Camera AG has partnered with Qatar’s Abu Issa Group to launch their products in the country. A new Leica Boutique has been setup on the ground floor of the Blue Salon building on Suhaim Bin Hamad Street.
Leica also opened a new store in London located in the Burlington Arcade.

The Taiwanese NCC government agency has a filing for a new Leica T Type 701 camera. My guess is that this will be a super-zoom compact camera (T for tele?) based on a Panasonic model (maybe a direct replacement of the V-Lux 4 camera).
