The Zenit M camera with Leica M-mount is now available for purchase in the US

Both the silver and black Zenit-M cameras with Leica M-mount are now available for sale in the US and are currently in-stock at zenit.store:

The US price is $6,995 and it includes the 35/1.0 Zenitar M lens in a special case with collector’s card, and hardbound book.

The Zenit-M camera is made by Leica with some simple design cues by Zenit. It’s essentially a Leica M240 without the 6-bit lens code reader and with Zenit software. The only lens profiles that are in the camera are only for the three Zenit made lenses: 35/1.0, 50/1.0 and 21/2.8. If you use any other Leica M-mount lens, the camera will not do automatic corrections.

Zenit was recently voted one of the top 50 Russian brands.
