What’s next for Leica? (updated rumors recap)

After the recent Leica M11-D camera and Leica SL 70-200mm f/2.8 lens announcements, here is an updated list/recap of expected/rumored Leica cameras and lenses (see all previous reports here):

Leica M interchangeable lens camera with built-in EVF (Leica M12?)

Leica Q3 with a fixed 43mm f/2 APO lens (September 26th announcement, priced at €6,800).

Leica Q-E entry-level camera (just like with the Leica M-E).

Leica M11-P black paint (probably limited edition).

New Leica in chrome and black.

→ More Leica M lenses are expected to be announced/refreshed in order to take full advantage of the new 60MP sensor. Thanks to the success of the latest legacy/heritage lenses and the M6, Leica is also working on more lenses based on old releases:

→ Leica L-mount lens rumors:

→ For the Leica M 70th-anniversary in 2024, Leica is expected/rumored to release the next generation of Leica watches. A new Leica L3 watch with a mechanical alarm complication is a possibility.

Leica mirrorless medium format camera (scheduled for 2025-2026).
