Today Cosina announced a new Voigtlander HELIAR Vintage Line 50mm f/3.5 VM lens for Leica M mount. The price in Japan is ¥65,000 (around $630, US pricing not yet announced). Shipping will start in November 2016. Key lens features:

The shipping of the Voigtländer VM 12mm f/5.6 Ultra Wide Heliar Aspherical III lens for Leica M mount is being delayed. The new release date is November. US pricing is not yet announced, but the Voigtländer VM 10mm f/5.6 lens is priced at $1,099 and is currently in stock. Additional information on the Voigtländer 12mm f/5.6 lens can be found here.

Leica will soon announce the new Leica Summilux SL 50mm f/1.4 ASPH lens for the SL mirrorless camera. The price and image quality of the new lens should be comparable to the Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens.
