The previously rumored Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens for Leica L mount is now officially announced:

There is a new MS Optics Apollon 36mm f/1.3 lens for Leica M-mount by Mr. Miyazaki (Miyazaki Optical Apollon 1.3/36). Here are the details:
I have been reporting for a while that Leica will introduce new “budget” zoom and prime lenses. In the next few days (maybe even tonight), Leica will announce two new L-mount lenses:
Leica SUMMICRON-SL 35mm f/2 ASPH lens:
Leica SUMMICRON-SL 50mm f/2 ASPH lens:
Both lenses are not APO and are based on the already available Panasonic versions. The price is less than half of the original Leica APO equivalent.
