Today Venus Optics released a new Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO full-frame mirrorless lens for Leica L mount (previously rumored here). The lens is priced at $499 and can be ordered directly from Laowa’s website (other stores will start taking pre-orders in a few weeks). Additional information can be found here.

Fotodiox will soon release a new Auto Macro Extension Tubes for L-mount (pictured above). The tubes are made for macro work and they will be all metal. The connection from camera to lens is passive – there are no electronics inside, just pins that extend the camera to the lens connections. Fotodiox adapters are sold at Adorama, Amazon, and B&H.
