Leica opens a new gallery in Zingst

Solms (ots) – Leica Camera AG will be represented in the Baltic Zingst with a Leica Gallery. For locations like New York, Tokyo, Vienna, Salzburg, Frankfurt, Warsaw and Prague, the traditional brand now presents the midst of the picturesque scenery of the Western Pomeranian Bodden country’s high-profile photo art by renowned photographers.

In the halls of a renovated former railway station, the new Leica Gallery shows at the start of the environmental photo festival “horizons zinc” photographs of Cotton and Sisse Brimberg Coulsen. The Danish-American photographer couple deals with the possibilities of the documentary Black and White Photography and holding in his work, the supposedly insignificant, inconspicuous of the moment most poignantly laid. Leica Gallery Zingst opened on 25 May 2013 by 11 clock in the street Am Bahnhof 1, Zingst.

Leica majority shareholder buys into internet photo platform i-shot-it.com

For a small fee, www.i-shot-it.com enables photo-enthusiasts—from amateurs to professionals—to take part in photographic competitions. Leica Gallery Salzburg shows works by the photographer and jazz trumpeter Till Bronner
