The Russian camera and lens manufacturer Zenit is planning to start production on two new multi-coated lenses for rangefinder cameras (L39 / M mounts):
Lomography-Zenit LZK 1948+ 1:2 f=5 cm (based on the old Jupiter-8 2/50)
Lomography-Zenit Jupiter 9+ 2/85 (based on the old Jupiter 9 2/85)
Leica released firmware update 2.0 for their SL mirrorless camera system. Some of the improvements are improved AF, 1/16,000 shutter speed, 529 AF points (up from 49) and more:
Faster focusing, higher precision and optimized subject tracking
New direct exposure compensation
Images in DNG format can now be magnified for better evaluation

Leica releases firmware update 2.0 for Leica SL mirrorless camera system
New firmware enhances camera performance, handling and workflow
Leica Camera has released a new firmware update for the mirrorless Leica SL camera system. Firmware version 2.0 can be downloaded by registered Leica SL owners from the Leica Owners’ Area (https://owners.leica-camera.com). Alternatively, customers can bring their camera to any Leica Store or Leica’s Customer Service department in the UK, for a complimentary update service.
