Henri Cartier-Bresson “The Modern Century” coming to Chicago

After New York, the “The Modern Century” exhibition from Henri Cartier-Bresson will be coming to the Art Institute of Chicago from July 25 till October 3, 2010 (Regenstein West). Member Previews will take place on July 23, 10:30–7:00 and July 24, 10:00–5:00. Fundraising on Twitter for Leica enthusiasts’ charity initiative

Starting on 30 June 2010, Leica Camera AG will donate € 0.50 (0.50 Euros) to the UK-based Association for International Cancer Research (AICR) for every new follower of Leica’s Twitter account http://twitter.com/leica_camera (@leica_camera). Leica will donate an additional € 1,000 to the AICR upon reaching 10,000 followers by 9 July 2010.

Second Leica M9 firmware: “in a few days”

In an email to a l-camera-forum member, Leica confirmed that a new M9 firmware will be coming “in a few days”. It seems that in addition to the improved in-camera white balance, there will be also some SD card compatibility fixes.
