White Knight Press has released its newest camera guide book, Photographer’s Guide to the Leica D-Lux 6: Getting the Most from Leica’s Advanced Compact Camera. The book is currently available on Amazon as a paperback ($23.30) or Kindle edition ($9.99).
Apple released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility update version 4.04 for Aperture 3 and iPhoto ’11 with support for Leica D-Lux 6, V-Lux 4 and X2 camera. The update can be downloaded here.
The Leica M-E, D-Lux 6 and V-Lux 4 cameras are now shipping in the US and are currently in stock at B&H. There is still no exact release date for the new Leica M camera.
The new Leica D-Lux 6 ($799) and V-Lux 4 ($899) compact cameras are expected to start shipping in the US next week (around Tuesday). Dale Photo and Digital is currently accepting pre-orders for both models. Some sample images taken with the D-Lux 6 can be found here.
