The Leica inspired Gizmon case is now available for iPhone 5

After the 4/4s version, Gizmon now offers Leica inspired cases for the iPhone 5 (EU links):

Leica “Mini M” in stores on June 11th

Leica Camera published a new banner on their Facebook page for their Mini M campaign with the text “Meet the new Leica family member on the 11th of June” and “Heard the rumors? Get the truth: Leica Stores – June 11th.” This indicates that there will be only one camera announced on June 11th and the first units will be in stock/on display in Leica stores on that date. As I already mentioned, the new camera will be made in Germany.

First picture and specifications of the Leica “Mini M” leaked online

The first picture and specifications (in French) of the Leica Mini M have leaked from an unknown source. As I already reported, the “Mini M” will be an X type compact camera with a zoom lens (Leica Elmar 3.5-6.4/28-70mm ASPH), 16MP APS-C sensor and a price tag of EUR 2,450 (over $3,000):

New Leica Mini M camera teaser

Leica published a new teaser on their website that shows a slightly opened box with just a glimpse of their new camera. Hopefully we will be able to see more of the “Mini M” next Monday. For now, everything points to an APS-C based camera with a fixed zoom lens. The big question is whether it will have some kind of a build-in viewfinder like the old Digilux models or it will be just a X camera with a zoom lens.
