Leica UK is launching a new exhibition in collaboration with global humanitarian organisation, Action Against Hunger, and photojournalists Andrew Parsons and Ben Stevens.
The exhibition, Hunger Through The Lens, taking place at the Leica Gallery Mayfair, London, until 5 November 2016, comes as Action Against Hunger launches a new coalition to double the number of severely malnourished children reaching life-saving treatments by 2020.
Firmware update version 1.6 for the Leica T (Typ 701) mirrorless camera is expected to be announced soon (see picture above). I am not sure what improvements will be introduced. If anyone has any details, you can contact me here.
Firmware version 1.55 for Leica T was released in September.
After the initial delay, the official launch date for the new Voigtlander Ultra Wide-Heliar 12mm f/5.6 Aspherical III lens is November 10th according to the Japanese website DC.watch. The US price is $899. The old version is now priced at $699.

In the US, the M9 has been sold out for few months now, but you can still get a brand new Leica M-E on eBay for $4,484.69. On the used market M9 cameras sell for under $3,000 – check out the current listings at Amazon, B&H, Adorama and KEH.
