Tomorrow, at around noon EST Leica will start their two days event in Berlin under the name “Leica – Das Wesentliche” (“Leica – The Essential“). The only update I have since my last post on what to expect is that the new Leica X2 will probably have the same 28mm Elmarit lens as in the X1. The optional X2 electronic viewfinder will be 1MP. The new 50mm Summicron will be considered as a new flagship lens. The M9-M will have an LCD screen and a 16bit greyscale monochrome sensor.
