New Voigtlander 35mm f/1.1 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses in development

Recently the Nokton 35mm f/1.2 Aspherical lens was listed as discontinued and the rumor is that Voigtlander will release a new 35mm f/1.1 version to replace it. In addition, Voigtlander is also working on a new 50mm f/1.4 lens.

A new 35mm f/1.1 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses will be a good addition to Voigtlander’s lens line-up. Their current 35mm offering consists of the Color-Skopar f/2.5 PII and the Nokton Classic f/1.4 lenses. On the 50mm they have the Nokton f/1.1.
