
In an email to a customer, Leica Camera confirmed that they are working on a new firmware update for the M8 digital rangefinder that will support the new Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2.0 ASPH lens (currently shipping in the US for $7,195.00).

I received some information that the Leica M release date has been delayed. B&H also recently changed the expected availability date to April 30, 2013 (previously, the shipping date was February 28).

DxOMark announced DxO Optics Pro v8.1.3 (the Elite edition is priced at $299) with support for Leica M-E, M9, and M9-P cameras. Here is a quick video on the DxO Optics Pro software:
