A major European website published an article about a new firmware update v1.1 for the Leica X2 (Google translation):
“For precious Leica Compact X2 is now a firmware update to version 1.1 are available. The update includes improved noise performance at ISO 1600, an improvement desdes automatic white balance and performance improvements. The firmware update is performed in-house, that is at your own risk, and you should be very important to follow the update instructions from Leica.”
The post was promptly removed shortly after it was published. I am not sure if this was a mistake or Leica will soon release a firmware update for their new X2 camera.
