A new Leica Monochrom Meister Edition Berlin was announced today to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Leica Store Berlin, which was the first Leica Store with the new black/red/white interior design. The set includes a Monochrom camera with a matching Summilux-M 50mm lens. Only 10 pieces are produced. The finish is brown mordant – a ground coating wich is used by Leica to protect the metal and as a holding primer for the lacquer paint.
For additional information, check Leica Store Berlin and follow also their “Collector item of the day” page.

Another leaked picture shows the buttons on the back of the Leica M10 camera. As I already reported, the M10 will have only 3 buttons: LV, Play and Menu as well as 2 LEDs.

A reader just sent me this picture (top view) of the upcoming Leica M10 camera. You can now clearly see the ISO dial on the top left and the reduced number of buttons on the back. The official announcement is on January 18th. Stay tuned for additional coverage.
In case I am asked to remove the leaked Leica M10 picture, you can also see it at the Leica M10 Facebook group and Leica M10 Facebook page.
