One of the Leica authorized dealers in Europe posted on Facebook that the sales of the new Leica TL2 cameras have been halted due to some issues with the Visoflex electronic viewfinder:
“Following Leica recommendation, we pause the sale of TL2 until Leica resolve the issue with viewfinder (Visoflex). We will keep you updated.”
We have to wait for the official statement from Leica to find out the details.

Leica released new firmware update version 1.9.4.0 for the M10 camera that corrects the issues when in certain cases black images were produced when using short exposure times:
The first Leica M10 limited edition camera is already released in collaboration with the US fashion brand Brooks Brothers. The set includes a silver M10, cuff buttons, bow tie and other accessories. The limited edition set will be sold only in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan for HK$ 66,000 (around US$8,500).

Three new pictures of the Leica TL2 camera from Nokishita confirm the removal of the eternal flash. Stay tuned – the official announcement is in 4 hours (9 am EST).
In addition to the 50mm f/1.1, the Chinese company 7Artisans is rumored to announce a new 35mm f/2 rangefinder coupled lens for Leica M-mount (pictured above). The official announcement is expected in August. The lens will have a 43mm filter thread. It is not clear if the new lens will have the same design as their current 35mm f/2 lens for Sony E-mount (more info here).
